LaVerne M. Jackson, 64, Delavan Lake, died at Lakeland Medical Center after suffering an apparent heart attack.
She was born Apr. 27, 1934 in Chicago, the daughter of George and Theresa Booss Groth. She married Frank C. Jackson in 1951; he died in 1985.
She is survived by a son, Mark (Judy) Jackson of Elk Grove Village, Ill.; two daughters, Carol Fullington of Warrenville, Ill., and Janet (Mike) Morgan of Essie, Ky.; a brother, Henry Groth of Stickney, Ill.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 5, at Cypress Funeral Home in Glendale Heights, Ill. Burial was in Glen Oak Cemetery, Hillside. Betzer Funeral Home assisted the family.
