In Memoriam.

The Lord in His wisdom has seen fit to call from us our beloved brother, Flor Winham, who, on January 6th, so calmly and peacefully "fell asleep in the arms of Jesus."

He had been ill only a few days with pneumonia, which developed from influenza.

He leaves a widow, two little daughters, father, mother, sisters and brothers, who deeply feel their loss; many relatives and a host of friends, who are sad over his death, but "The Lord gave and the Lord hath taken away. Blessed by the name of the Lord."

The family chain is broken now, one precious link is missing. That sweet voice and welcome footstep are heard no more in the house.

He was wanted in heaven, so the dear father took him to the prepared mansion. It was hard to part with him, we loved him so dearly; but when we are coscious of their acceptance with the Lord we sorrow not as those who have no hope.

The joined the Hosston Baptist Church during the summer of 1917, and was baptized by his pastor, Rev. James E. Wakefield. He was a faithful and consistent member. A vacancy will be felt in our church almost equal to that in his own family. The Church has lost a deacon, our Sunday School a teacher and the B.Y.P.U. a loyal member. His faith in God never faltered.

True, our cause has sustained a great loss. We will sadly miss him.

May God comfort the bereaved.
