Funeral services for James E. Swain 62, were held sunday Feb.7 2010 at Brown-Holley Funeral Home Chapel Bro. Waymon Swain and Bro.Wilfred Burgess officiated. James died after a long battle with throat cancer he was a member of Delhi Church of Christ. he was preceded in death by his parents J.E. Swain and Hattie Adams Swain. 2 sisters Mearle Dean Swain and Katie White. he's survived by his wife Mae Swain of Rayville,La. children Brandon Swain and wife Rebekah of Rayville, Lisa Marie Swain Horn and husband Luther Horn Jr. of Baton Rouge,La. Kimberly Diane Swain Higgins and husband Robert of Baton Rouge,La. step-children Lisa Davis and husband Jack of Epps,LA. and Phil Cawthon and wife Julie of Denham Springs,La. 22 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren. 2 half-sister Rev.Annie Mae Farmer Allen of Pioneer,La. and Lela Fay Young. 3 brothers Waymon Swain, Floyd Swain and Llyod Swain.5 sisters Mildred Carroll, Bobbie Guillory, Betty Caraway,Joann Burgess,and Ida Ruth Morgan.
