Mary Moeller, 96, Dreyerhaus Nursing Home, Batesville, Ind., died early this morning, Oct. 3, 1988, in the Margaret Mary Community Hospital, Batesville, Ind.
She was born Jan. 2, 1892, in Hamburg, Ind. the daughter of Andrew and Catherine Ripperger Bedel. She married Bernard Moeller Oct. 16, 1912, in the St. Anne's Catholic Church, Hamburg, Ind., and he preceded her in death April 25, 1982. She was a retired homemaker. She was a member of the St. Louis Catholic Church and the Ladies Society of the Church, Batesville, Ind.
Sh is survived by three sons, Carl Moeller, Batesville, Ind., Paul Moeller, Trafalgar, Ind., and Wilbur Moeller, Indianapolis; two daughters, Mrs. Arthur (Rose) Flodder, and Mrs. Paul (Gertrude) Weisenbach, both of Batesville, Ind.; two sisters, Mrs. Leo (Theresa) Holtel and Hilda Bedel, both of Star Route, Oldenburg, Ind.; 32 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Joseph Moeller; four brothers, John, Joseph, Andrew and Frank Bedel; four sisters, Mrs. George (Josephine) Wissel, Mrs. Henry (Barbara) Gehring, Mrs. John (Catherine) Gehring and Louise Bedel.
Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Louis Catholic Church in Batesville, Ind., with the Rev. Ric Schneider, O.F.M., officiating.
Burial will be in the St. Louis Catholic Cemetery, Batesville, Ind.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Weigel Funeral Home, Batesville, Ind.
A rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
The family suggests that memorials go to the Batesville, Ind., Rescue 10 Life Squad.
