Erma 'Maxine' Sticka

A funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 12, 2001, in Forest Grove United Methodist Church for Erma "Maxine" Sticka, who died July 10 at age 80.

Mrs. Sticka was born Erma Coy on Feb. 27, 1921, in Wilcox, Neb. She moved to Gaston as a teen-ager and graduated from Gaston High School. She lived in Bremerton, Wash., before moving to Forest Grove about 1943. She was a homemaker and a 50-year member of the church. In 1941, she married Edward R. Sticka; he died in 1998.

Survivors include her son, Douglas; daughters, Sherry Thompson and Dana Bailey; sister, Evelyn Van Doren; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Interment in Forest View Cemetery in Forest Grove. Arrangements by Fuiten Rose & Hoyt.
