Maude Piercy Morgan was born December 3, 1918 and departed this life May 14, 2004 reaching the age of 85 years. She was the daughter of Reuben "Cubie" Piercy and Ethel Morgan Peircy.
She was united in marriage to Charles Noble Morgan and to this union three children were born.
She is survived by three sons: Billy Joe (Mary Ann), Gary, and Dwight Morgan all of Monticello, KY; two brothers, Otto Percy of Monticello, KY and Bob Piercy of Shelbyville, IN; and two sisters, Lizzie Morgan and Nina Bell of Monticello, KY; five grandchildren, Dwayne and Rick Morgan, Lisa Gregory, James and Robert Meece; and five great grandchildren along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Morgan; her parents, Cubie and Ethel Piercy; four brothers, Larry, Lyle, Andy Piercy and Hamia Slaven; and one sister, Beulah Piercy.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
