MRS. EMMA HUGHES DIES AT HOME
Lewistown, Dec. 14 - (Special) - Mrs. Emma C. Hughes, died today at her home on South Main after having been in poor health for a year. Born Jan. 16, 1869, she was the daughter of Richard and Susan Hunter Burge. She was married Feb. 28, 1886 to Henry Hughes, who died February, 1926. She was a member of the Christian church and the Rebekah lodge.
Surviving are seven children, Richard, Havana; Harry, Mrs. Jessie May, Rudolph, John, all of Lewistown; Mrs. Lucille Millard, Orlando, Fla.; Mrs. Gladys Rice, Denver; 31 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Sadie Foster, Iowa, Ruth Burge, California, Addie Burge, Lewistown; one brother, William, Orlando, Okla. Two children are deceased.
Funeral services are incomplete. Friends may call at the Zimmerman and Henry Funeral chapel.
