MONTICELLO - Ed J. Gibson, 82, of Monticello died Saturday at his home.
He was a retired farmer. Born November 9, 1906 in Drew County, he was a son of the late Jim Gibson and Julie Strickland Gibson.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Stikeleather Gibson; a brother. Travis Gibson of Monticello. Two sisters, Myrtle Mauney of Dumas and Mattie Youngblood of Monticello, a grandchild and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Pleasant Springs Baptist Church at Monticello.
Burial will be at Pleasant Springs Cemetery near Monticello by Stephenson Dearman Funeral Monticello
