Graveside service: Noon Tuesday, Feb. 2, in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: 1 to 6 p.m. Monday, Feb. 1, at the funeral home, with family hour 6 to 7 p.m.
He was a retired U.S. Air Force staff sergeant and a retired U.S. Postal Service employee.
Survivors: Children, Gloria O. Fields, Denise E. Sanders (Dwight), Linwood E. Fields, Lisa L. Wilkes (Jeff) and Everett M. Fields; devoted companion, Evelyn Mayfield; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
