ARCHULETTA -- Gertrude Zimmerly Archuletta died Wednesday, August 31, 2005 in Albuquerque at the age of 90. Mrs. Archuletta is survived by her husband, Daniel E. Archuletta; and her son, Frank E. Chavez and wife, Ruth Alarid Chavez, all of Albuquerque. She is also survived by her brother, Albert Zimmerly; sister, Pablita Baca, both of Socorro, NM; grandchildren, Michael Chavez and partner, Ken Broussard, Craig Chavez and wife, Venita Lujan Chavez, and Janice Chavez Romero and husband, Juan B. Romero Jr.; great-grandchildren, Allison, John-Michael, Jessica and Krista Romero, and Lucario and Elise Chavez. Services for Mrs. Archuletta will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2005 at St. Therese Catholic Church. The Rosary will be recited at 10:00 a.m. with the celebration of the Funeral Mass to follow at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Michael Chavez, Craig Chavez, Juan B. Romero Jr., Michael Van Sickler, Gary Sanchez, Jody Wolfe, Eddie Bernal, Precilino Vaiza and Nestor Torres.
