Carlsbad-- Yma D. Donaldson, 90, of West Pierce Street, died Wednesday, June 25, 1997, at Lakeview Christian Home of the Southwest Inc., Northgate Unit.
Funeral services will be at 9 a. m. today at Hillcrest United Methodist Church with Rev. Joe Barthlow officiating.
Interment will be at 3 p. m. Friday at Sunset Memorial Park in Albuquerque with Rev. Charlies Price of St. John's United Methodist Church officiating.
Denton-Funchess Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
She was born on April 16, 1907, in Bogalusa, La., to Henry Pitt and Leona McKinley DeLong.
She married James Donald Donaldson in 1929 in Bernalillo, Sandoval, N. M. She resided in Carlisbad for 27 years.
Mrs. Donaldson was a long time member of Hillcrest United Methodist Church, a member of Eastern Star for 50 years and a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
She was preceded in death by her husband James, on May 6, 1979.
Survivors include four nephews, three nieces, one brother-in-law, two sisters-in-law and numerous close friends.
Pallbearers are Elizabeth Benavidex, Michael F. Carroll and Michael J. Carroll.
