Born in Zwevezele, the daughter of Joseph and Anna Francoys-Deneweth. She married Felix Taillieu (Tallieu) on June 8, 1865 in Zwevezele. They had 10 children of which 9 were born in Zwevezele. She immigrated landing in New York on April 9, 1885. Joining her husband, Felix, they lived in Centerline, MI where another son was born. The couple eventually settled on a farm in Arcadia Township, Lapeer County where she lived out her remaining years.
