Florence Skoviak-Mickalich, 89, of Ypsilanti Township passed away Wednesday evening, June 23, 2004, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 7, 1914, in Painesdale, the daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Skoviak. She married Paul Mickalich and he preceded her in death in1975. Survivors include her daughters, Geraldine (Charles) MacIsaac of Ypsilanti and Gail (the late Fred) Pagel of Westland; one son, Paul "Sonny" Mickalich of Baltic; three grandsons, six granddaughters; a host of great-grandchildren; and one great great grandson.
Numerous nieces, nephews and other family members also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband; two grandchildren; six brothers; and five sisters. Florence's wishes were to have no services held and be buried next to her husband, Paul, in the South Range Cemetery.
