John Charles Randall, 84, died Tuesday, March 14, 2006 at his home in Muskogee.

He was born to William and Ora Marie (Church) Randall. After attending the Manard School, he was a member of the Civilian Conservation Corps. John then farmed until he was drafted into the U.S. Army, serving during World War II for three years.

After the war, John was employed as a surgical scrub technician at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center for thirty years. He was a member of both the Masonic Lodge and the Bedouin Shrine Temple of Muskogee. An avid fisherman his entire life, he enjoyed making custom rods and tackle. He attended church at Christian Chapel.

John was preceded in death by both parents; his first wife, Mildred Randall; and brothers, Ross Randall and Ray Randall.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Randall of Muskogee; son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Laura Randall of McAlester; granddaughters, Diana Randall and Julie Goff and her husband, Nicky, of Oklahoma City; great-grandson, Martin Wesley Goff; step-son, Don Keith and his wife, Sheila of Wiley, TX; step-grandson, Jeff Keith of Tulsa; step-grandaughter, Kara Walters and her husband, Jerry, of Guthrie; great step-granddaughter, RaeAnn Walters; step-daughter-in-law, Vonna Grosshart of Tulsa; brother, Dwight Randall and his wife, Helen, of Tulsa; three sisters, Opal Jordan of Ft. Gibson; Wanema Anderson of Tahlequah and Carol Rozell and her husband, Herbert, of Tahlequah; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at Christian Chapel in Muskogee with Rev. Conrad Barrett officiating. Funeral service arrangements were directed by Foster-Petering Funeral Home.
