Susie Wanema Randall-Anderson, or Wanema to her many family and friends, was born on November 7th, 1925, in Tahlequah, OK, the daughter of William (Bill) and Ora Marie (Church) Randall. She attended school in what was then the Manard school district in Cherokee County.

She grew up with her four brothers and two sisters, Charles, Ross, Ray, Dwight, Opal and Carol, and they made sure that there was plenty of fun for everyone to share.

She married EG Anderson and together, they raised one son and two daughters, Gunter, Patricia and Barbara.

Wanema worked as a custodian for the Physical Plant Department of NSU. She liked people and made friends on a daily basis.

She was generous to a fault with her time and her talents, which were many. She could knit and crochet, and if you admired her work, it was yours, just for the asking. She was blessed with a fantastic sense of humor that drew people toward her. She made everyday a little brighter with her smile and her wonderful outlook on life. She was a true Christian in that she never held a grudge. She felt like life was too short to burden herself with that emotion, so she simply didn't. Of all she held dear on earth, it was her family that meant the most, she was so very proud of all they accomplished and how much she loved each day spent with them, gathered at the family home or at the fishing hole.

There was nothing better than a chance to sit down to one of Wanema's delicious meals of fried chicken, brown beans, redeye gravy, blackberry cobbler and strawberry cake. Everyone had a good time at her table.

As her strength began to fade, she would sit and enjoy the day in the company of her canine companion, Zsa Zsa. Her health began to fail her and she passed from this life on Saturday, October 15th, 2016 at her daughters home in Broken Arrow, OK. Wanema had attained 90 years of memories. She will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father, her son Gunter, and her daughter Barbara, and all of her brothers, Charles, Ross, Ray, and Dwight Randall.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving daughter, Patricia Mackey-Anderson of the home in Broken Arrow, OK, and her beloved husband of many years, EG Anderson, also of the home. She leaves two sisters, Opal Jordan of Ft. Gibson, and Carol Randall-Rozell and husband Herbert of Tahlequah, OK.

She lives on in her ten grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends and loved ones.
