St. Charles, Minn.—(Special to the Republican-Herald) –Funeral services for Mrs. E. A. Messerschmidt, 55 years old, lifelong southern Minnesota resident, who died at the Messerschmidt farm home northwest of St. Charles Tesday evening after a year’s illness, were held early this afternoon at the home with the Rev. A. R. DeMaris, Dover Methodist Episcopal Church officiating. Burial was in the Little Valley Cemetery.
Mrs. Messerschmidt was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Donaldson, Six Oakes, Minn., where she was born May 15, 1876. She was married Oct. 1, 1901.
Surviving are her husband, five children: Rowan, Donald, Edwin, Edwina and Charles; three brothers and two sisters.
