Vesta K. Stutzman, 90, of Blairsville, passed away, Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2006 at Keeper of the Flame. She was the daughter of the late William E. Altimus and Sara J. Wakefield Altimus.
She was a member of the Germany United Methodist Church, New Florence. Vesta was a member of the Eastern Star 166 of Blairsville, the PSEA and NEA. She was a retired school teacher after 41 years of service at United High School.
She is survived by a sister, Doris Altimus, Blairsville.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers: W. Dale, Charles H., Herman E., William B. Altimus; and sister Anna Grace Hill.
Friends will be received from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at James F. Ferguson Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. James R. Henigin officiating.
Interment will follow in Blairsville Cemetery.
Eastern Star will conduct services Friday evening in the funeral home.
