Bronce McClure grew up in the Vinyard section of Shooting Creek in Clay County. He lived most of his adult life in Marietta, Georgia where he worked for the Boeing Corporation. Most weekends he returned to Shooting Creek, eventually returning full time after retirement. He was an active member of Bethel United Methodist Church.
