Catharine Maurer was born near Jeromesville, Ohio February 25, 1835 and died October 29, 1923. Married Samuel Stauffer November 18, 1858. Four children. Her husband died April 24, 1871. She later married John Clymer May 2, 1872. One son. This husband died in December 1908. She leaves three children - William H. Stauffer, Elizabeth Giles and Frank Clymer, all near here; a step-son, George Clymer of David City, Nebraska. Two sons, George and Oren having died.
