William York died in Doniphan on Wednesday, 29 Dec. 1915 at 11:40 pm of uremic poisoning and hardening of the arteries. Born Akron, OH on 15 June 1846. Used to live at Kingbee as millwright. Leaves wife, two sons, George S. and Rea(?), daughter Miss Eve, 11 grandchildren and on great grandchild. Funeral Friday, 31 Dec. 1915. Burial was at Oakridge with Rev. J. w. Worsnop of the Methodist church officiating.
