McGUFFEY - Services for Ralph B. Lawrence, 54, who died at 7 p.m. Thursday in his home following a heart attack, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Central Methodist Church, Alger. Rev. Warren Ritchie will officiate and burial will be in Preston Cemetery.

A farm foreman for the Scioto Land Co., he had been in ill health for about three months. He was born Feb. 13, 1903, in Alger and had been a lifelong resident of this county. He was married Jan. 21, 1923 to Mary Calbert and she survives.

Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Henry, Russells Point; one grandson; five brothers, Pearl and Howard, both of Alger, Garrett, Route 2, Lafayette, Ray, Toledo, and Dell, Lima; and four sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Streets and Mrs. Tressie Calbert, both of Alger; Mrs. Leona Stocker, Waynesfield and Mrs. Geneva Hopkins, Tekonsha, Mich.

The body will remain in the Hanson Funeral Home, Alger, where friends may call after 2 p.m. Saturday, until 1 p.m. Sunday and will then be removed to the church to await services.
