Mrs. Milam, a native of Grady, La., died Saturday, June 13, at Alpine Guest Care Center in Ruston following a lengthy illness. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, a charter member of the Ruston Garden Club and D.A.R. and was also active in the Girl Scouts.
Mrs. Milam was preceded in death by her husband, J.B. Milam.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Elaine LaRue of Ruston; one son, Don H. Milam of Ruston; three sisters, Mrs. Agnes Jones of Shreveport, Mrs. Flora Oxford of Missouri City, Texas, and Mrs. Edith Terral of Shreveport; two brothers, Verne Smith of Start and Harold Smith of Angie; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
