Mable loved her yard and garden where she loved to bird watch. She was a member of the Farm Bureau Ladies Aid, a member of the Hospital Auxiliary and a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church where she was very active in many of the church's functions.
She is survived by one son, Russell Zilka of St. Charles, Missouri; Grandson, Matthew Zilka; Step-children, Ruth Averill of Freeland, Rosemary (Bud) Clement of Saginaw, and Ronald Schultz of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Brothers: Milton (Eleanor) Wirth of Reed City, Arthur (Maxine) Wirth of LeRoy, and Donald (Darlene) Wirth of Grand Rapids. She was predeceased by two sons, five sisters, and three brothers.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2004 at Our Savior Lutheran Church with Rev. Timothy Verity presiding with burial in Highland Cemetery. The Sisson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. The family requests memorials to Our Savior Lutheran Church.
