In 1918 and 1955 Eva D. (Mackes) Bouser Balliet was living at Saylorsburg, PA. In 1964 she was living at Nazareth, PA.

NAZARETH - Mrs. Eva D. Mackes Balliet, 90, of 203 Center St., Nazareth, died Monday in the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. Joanne Dinstel Joseph, 606 W. Union Blvd, Bethlehem.

Mrs. Balliet was a retired teacher, having taught school in Eldred and Ross Townships, Monroe County. She attended Fairview Academy in Brodheadsville.

She was born March 28, 1877 in Saylorsburg, a daughter of George and Emma Lessig Mackes. She was married to Oscar Balliet, who died March 3.

She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Nazareth, and a former member and trustee of St. Peter's Evangelical United Brethren Church, Saylorsburg.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Gladys M. Dinstel, Nazareth; a brother, Clyde Mackes, Bethlehem; a sister, Miss Florence Mackes, Philadelphia, and two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Bartholomew Funeral Home, Nazareth.
