Burial will be in Kay Cemetery, Winona, under direction of Community Funeral Home of Tyler.
Mr. Wilson died May 9, 2008, at a Tyler hospice.
He was born May 21, 1955, in Big Sandy to the late Freddie M. Wilson and Claudell Howard. He graduated from Winona High School, lived in Fairfield for 25 years prior to moving to Tyler three years ago and was a truck driver for Tran-Mix Cement Co., Palestine. He was a member of New Zion Baptist Church, and was preceded in death by stepdaughter, Tonisa Burns.
Survivors include sons, Kody L. Burns and Colby L. Burns, both of Fairfield; daughter, A. Nicole Simmons, Fort Worth; brothers, Robert Wilson, Tyler, Kenneth Howard, Fort Worth, and Robert D. Howard, Denver, Colo.; sisters, Claudett Hardisty, Tyler, and Clara Claudette Howard, Dallas; and six grandchildren.
Family will receive friends 6-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
