Ruby Violet Miller, 89, passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2010.
She was born in Cameron, LA and was of the Baptist Faith. She was the faithful wife of Warren Miller for over 60 years.
Survivors include her daughters, Frances Miller of Moss Bluff, Judy Rutherford and husband, Wendell of Grand Chenier, Karen Boudreaux of Lake Charles; sister, Marie Kelly and husband, George of Lacassine; grandchildren, Shannon Aucoin and wife, Daphne, Jay Rutherford, Ben Rutherford, Jonathan Rutherford, Chad Fletcher and wife, Stephanie, Jeremy Fletcher and wife, Anna, Angela Boudreaux, and Timothy Boudreaux; 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Miller; daughter, Donna Fletcher; parents, Arthur and Violet Murphy; brothers, Douglas, Charles and Alvin Murphy.
Her funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Rev. Wallace Primeaux will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Grove Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday from 8 a.m. til time of service. The family would like to extend a special thanks to St. Patrick's ICU Nursing Staff, especially to Crystal, Denise, Aaron and Jennifer.
