According to my grandfather, 'Ray' Albert Earl Edmonds, he was left on their porch sucking on a turnip in a saturated diaper. He was raised by Annie and John Young whom he considered his parents. That is why he is listed on the 1910 Redbank, Clarion Co. PA Census....which has him listed as 'son Ray at 2 years old'.

Additionally, the 1920 Redbank, Clarion Co. PA census
shows him listed again as 'Ray, 12'. An additional child is listed....Olive, 13. She was also taken in by Annie and John Young.
