Mrs. John E. Young
Mrs. Annie Barbara Young of Red Bank Township, Clarion County, died Friday, April 9, 1937, in the Brookville
Hospital.
Mrs. Young, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Bish, was born at Truittsburg, Clarion County, February 6,
1868. She was married to John E. Young, June 16, 1886. Mrs. Young was a member of the Shannondale Lutheran
Church. She was a devoted wife and mother, and friend to all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband and the following children; Mrs. Vernie Brocious, Cottage Hill; Mrs. Elsie Smail,
Distant; Milo Young, Distant; Dorothy Mae Young, at home. Nineteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren,
and the following brothers and sister also survive; Mrs. Caroline Heller, Mayport; Mrs. Joe Lynch, Hawthorn;
Mrs. Minnie Powell, Alcola; Mrs. Hattie Dillinger; Mrs.Bert Askin, New Kensington; Mrs. Ernest Harriger,
Alcola; W.J. Bish, Strobelton, and Mr. John Elmer Bish.
Funeral services were held Sunday, April 11th, and were in charge of the Rev. Arthur Blank. Burial was made in the Shannondale cem
