Barbara E. Raver, 89, of Glen Rock, died Saturday at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
Ms. Raver retired in 1974 after 42 years of employment as a secretary for the late U.S. Rep. George A. Goodling in Washington, D.C.
She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Glen Rock.
She was a member of Jefferson Chapter No. 3699 AARP.
She graduated from Thompson Business School, York.
Born in Glen Rock October 22, 1912, she was a daughter of the late Norman O. and Elsie (Thoman) Raver.
She leaves a sister, Robin R. King of Glen Rock; and a niece.
Viewing is 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Geiple Funeral Home Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock. The service is at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with her pastor, the Rev. John L. Trout, officiating.
Burial is in Trinity United Church of Christ Cemetery.
