Eunice Gibson Crepps, 86, of 923 Thomas St., Rockingham, died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2010 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.

Mrs. Crepps was born April 19, 1923 in Scotland County, a daughter of the late Arch and Maude Sibbitt Gibson. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Rockingham and had been employed with Hanes Hosiery as an inspector. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hampton Davis Crepps; a son, Rodney Davis Crepps; and brothers and sisters Garland Gibson, Mabel Thompson, Aubrey Gibson, James Gibson, Hazel Farris and Arch Gibson.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Jim Nelson and the Rev. Eugene McNair officiating. Interment will follow in Richmond County Memorial Park.

Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Dick Bobbitt of Laurinburg; grandchildren Lindsey Reneau and husband Joe, Davis Oliver, Richard Bobbitt, and Hannah Bobbitt; great-grandchildren Sheila Reneau and Joey Reneau; and a sister, Elsie G. Bennett of Rockingham.

The family will see friends from 6:– 8 p.m. Thursday at Carter Funeral Home of Rockingham and at other times at the home on Thomas Street.
