TOWN CREEK -- Lorenzo Almon, 60, of Atlanta, Ga., died at 8 p.m. Wednesday in Atlanta.
Born and reared in Town Creek, Almon moved to Atlanta when he was a young man, where he was employed as a meat cutter for Kroger Grocery Co. At the time of his death, he was personnel director for Kroger.
Graveside services will be conducted Saturday at 3 p.m. in Town Creek Cemetery.
Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Cora Gray Almon, one daughter, Mrs. Thelma Robinson; three grandchildren, Steve, Gary and Kermit Robinson.
