Thomas A. Wetmore, 70, of Verona, died Monday, Jan. 11, 2010, at his residence.

Born in Pittsburgh, June 6, 1939, he was a son of the late William and Irene (Fisher) Wetmore. Dear husband to Dessie (Zorich) Wetmore for 48 years. Loving father of Connie Wetmore, of Verona. Brother of Joyce (Jim) White, of Butler, and the late William "Hap" Wetmore. Brother-in-law of Ollie Zorich, of Penn Hills, Louise Regitano, of Plum, Wycelia Holston, of Detroit, Martha Sepelyak, of Verona, Sophia Earhart, of Lower Burrell, Annie Moscak, of Blawnox, Mary Clark, of Pittsburgh, Donica Duty, of Detroit, and the late Mildred Moore, Steve, Pete and Michael Zorich.

Tom attended Puckety Presbyterian Church of Lower Burrell, was a member of the Oakmont Elks, Oakmont American Legion Post 600, and the Verona Eagles. He was a peacetime veteran serving in the Army, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, sports, and his camp in Tionesta.

Friends and relatives will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME,
Oakmont. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home with the Rev. Cindy Bentz officiating.

Interment will be private for the family in Deer Creek Cemetery, Harmar Township.
