Chattanooga, Times, Oct. 7, 1951Mrs. T. J. Finnell Mrs. Nannie Wheat Finnell, 76, widow of T. J. Finnell and a resident of Ridgedale for 45 years, died yesterday morning at her home, 2101 Watkins Street. Mrs. Finnell was a native of north Georgia and was a member of the East Chattanooga Church of God. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Winston I. Browder, Mrs. Tom Spencer, Chattanooga; Mrs. Emer Hunt, Mrs. Roy Lee Wells, Rossville; son, Britton Finnell, Rossville; nine grandchildren and three grate-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock this afternoon at the East Chattanooga Church of God, the Rev. V. B. Rains and Robert Evans officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers, R. S. Simpson, Charles Gates, E. H. Nesbit. Coy Ogle, Floyd Beene and T. S. Pruitt. Honorary pallbearer will be members of the Evangel Class of East Chattanooga Church of God Sunday School.
