JARNAGIN FUNERAL SERVICES

Funeral services for Mrs. Henry Jarnagin, who died on Thursday of last week, were held last Saturday afternoon in the Coldwater Methodist church. The pastor, Rev. Wm. E. Callahan, brought the message. Mrs. V. J. Allderdice and Mrs. J. W. Brewer sang "God Will Take Care of You" and "Rock of Ages", accompanied at the organ by Mrs. Wm. Brumbaugh. The active pall bearers were: Gay Lindsay, Virgil Jellison, Elmer Edmonston, Loren Herd, Frank Lindsay and Ralph Watson. Honorary pall bearers were: Tom Lindsay W. Jellison, Bill Cox, Lee Darrow and Donnie King. Burial was made in Crown Hill Cemetery. Rena Monticue, daughter of David F. Rebecca J. Monticue, was born in Scotland county, Mo., December 13, 1876, and departed this life January 2, 1941, at Larned, Kans., aged 64 years and 20 days. She came to this county in June 1899, with her brother W. C. Monticue, where she has since made her home. She was united in marriage to Henry Jarnagin April 26, 1901, at Coldwater, Kans. To this union were born two children, Mrs. Henry Blake of Watonga, Okla., and Ray Jarnagin of Coldwater, Kans. Mrs. Jarnagin was a member of the Methodist church of Protection, Kans. She leaves to mourn their loss, her husband, Henry Jarnagin; her daughter and son, and six grandchildren; two brothers; two sisters and a host of friends.
