LINDSAY — Funeral Mass of Christian Burial for Rose Marie Bezner, 74, of Lindsay will be held Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Centennial Hall with concelebrants Abott Jerome Kodell O.S. B. of Subiaco Abbey and Father Kyle Walterscheid of the Forth Worth Diocese.

Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Geo. J . Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

Rose died on Jan. 8, 2010 at The Presbyterian Hospital of Denton.

Rose was born Aug. 7, 1935 to Alphonse and Augusta Noggler Walterscheid. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church and was an avid homemaker her entire adult life. Rose enjoyed cooking Sunday dinners, gardening, sewing, raising chickens, but she especially enjoyed her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband for 55 years, Weldon; sons and daughters in-law, Matt and Darlene, Andy and Susie, Bruce and Jenny, Dan and Christy, and Pat and Tommy; daughter, Lisa and daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Darell Walterscheid; fourteen grandchildren; brothers and spouses, Wilmer and Lovell Walterscheid, Dave and Joan Walterscheid, John and Glenda Walterscheid, Leon Walterscheid, Giles and Marlene Walterscheid; sisters and spouses, Marge and Melvin Voth, Jeanette and Johnny Reiter, Frances and Jim Voth, Florence and Bonny Prescher and Nita and James Fleitman.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ernest Walterscheid and son: Joseph.

Rosary with visitation will be held this evening, Jan. 11, 2010 at 7 p.m. in the Centennial Hall.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Peter's Catholic Church restoration fund.
