Augusta was born in Muenster to Joseph and Jennie Sieger Noggler. She married Alphons William Walterscheid Nov. 20, 1934. She was the mother of 12 children and shortly after the birth of her last child, her husband was tragically killed in a tractor accident on the farm September 26, 1957.
She is survived by her children and spouses: Rosemary and Weldon Bezner, Margie and Melvin Voth, Jeannie and Johnny Reiter, Frances and Jim Voth, Florence and Bonnie Prescher, Nita and James Fleitman, Dave and Joan Walterscheid, Wilmer and Lovelle Walterscheid, John and Glenda Walterscheid, Leon Walterscheid, Giles and Marlene Walterscheid. Their son Ernest was killed in a hunting accident.
