"OBITUARY"

George W. Barhydt, 45, died Sunday at the Goshen hospital from a complication of diseases. He is survived by his wife; four sons, three daughters, three grandchildren, his mother and four brothers, and a sister. A half-brother, Arthur Barhydt, lives in Elkhart.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. Mark's M. E. church Goshen.

George Washington Barhydt, was born on Saturday Oct 27, 1883. The oldest of eight children born to George Washington and Ida Anna (Daily) Barhydt. George married his first wife, Carrie B. Kline on Apr. 8, 1903 in Noble Co., IN. They have a daughter, Sylvia Lovina Barhydt. They divorce on Sept. 16, 1905.

George married his second wife Jennie May Getz on Feb. 15, 1909 in St. Joseph, Berrien Co., IN. To this union were born seven children. Violet, George W., Raymond, Laura, Cecil, Otto, and George Junior. He is preceded in death by his parents Ida A. and George
Washington Barhydt Sr.
