Warnie died at the Sparta Community Hospital.
The son of Robert Hurshman and and Mary May Lloyd, Warnie married Grace Edith McKinley in Belleville, Illinois 31 Dec 1921. Warnie and Grace had the followin children: Marjorie Lee (dies in 1952) and Nadine Maryellen.
Grace died 22 Sep 1957. Warnie then married Mrs. Grace Hennrich in East St. Louis, 26 Feb 1959.
Survivors include his wife, Grace, one daughter, Nadine, an adopted grand daughter Nancy Lee, and step children.
In addition, he was survived by three brothers Rufus, Mosie, and Todd; 13 grandchildren.
Warnie's obit notes that he was a retired coal miner and a member of Local No. 632, Sparta, Illinois. His wife's obit notes that in 1957 Warnie worked as a boiler fireman at Scott Air Force Base.
Funeral services were held at the Finger Funeral Home in Marissa with Rev. Wesley Walters officiating. Burial is noted as in the Marissa Cemetery.
