Death again visited the Atkinson home Tuesday, claiming as a victim of influenza, Miss Irene Atkinson, aged twenty years and one of the most popular and highly esteemed young ladies of the county. Though she had been ill for several days, her condition was not regarded as necessarily critical, so the news of her untimely demise came as a distinct surprise to the community in which she had been reared to useful womanhood.
