Charles Archer died at his home south of Cromwell last Friday of a heart ailment. He was born near Cromwell Aug. 5, 1881, the son of Simon and Luella (Crago) Archer. He married Josephine Needles on Nov. 6, 1912. Surviving are the widow; four daughters, Mrs. Thelma Sparks, Warsaw, Mrs. Louise Smith of Columbia City, Mrs. Barbara Wolf of near Cromwell, and Mrs. Irene Goshorn of South Bend; two sons, Cecil of Warsaw, and F. Wayne of Cromwell; two sisters, Mrs. Edith Sparrow of Cromwell, and Miss Anna Archer of South Bend; 17 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Services Monday in L. H. Moore Funeral Home.
