Paul Riley, 72, of Fayetteville died July 9, 2007, at his home. He was born May 21, 1935, in St. Paul to Stant and Garnie Shipp Riley. He retired from Campbell Soup Co. in Fayetteville after more than 35 years of service. He was a Navy veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Pansy Robbins Riley of the home; two sons, Danny Riley of Hickory Creek and Larry Riley and wife Linda of Patrick; two daughters, Donna Burns and husband Barry and Rose Elzey and husband Harold, all of Fayetteville; his mother of Huntsville; three brothers, Guy Riley of Hindsville, Glen Riley of Huntsville and Ray Riley of Berryville; three sisters, Opal Mayes, Wanda Reynolds and Joyce Davis, all of Huntsville; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at New Life Tabernacle in Fayetteville with the Rev. John Martin and the Rev. Harold Shipp officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Brashears Funeral Home in Huntsville.

Pallbearers will be Danny Riley, Larry Riley, Jason Stephens, Casey Burns, Travis McGarrah and Danny Riley II.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
