Margaret Wiser Turner, 79, passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2009.

She was born June 2, 1930 in Lewiston, Utah, the daughter of Clarence Cunningham and Eurilla Emeline Kent Wiser.

Margaret married William J. Turner on March 19, 1947 in Preston, Idaho. Their marriage was solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple on August 12, 1948.

Margaret was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She served in the Presidency of the Primary, Young Women's, and in the Relief Society. She loved serving and helping others unselfishly.

Margaret loved quilting, sewing, cooking, gardening, and yard work. She loved being a mother and grandmother and always put other people's needs above her own.

Surviving are her husband William J. Turner, sons, Sidney Clair (Mary) Turner, John Paul Turner, Jeremy David Turner, daughters, Denise Turner, Malynda Marie Thurgood, Tricia Turner, fourteen grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and brother, Paul Kent Wiser.

Preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Renee Turner and two sons, Neil Turner, Rodney J. Turner, and sister-in-law, Lois Wiser.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 28, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist's Layton Mortuary, 1867 North Fairfield Road. Friends and family may call on Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Monday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.
Interment: Lewiston, Utah Cemetery.
