Betty M. (McClelland) McAdam, 86, of Rural Ridge, Indiana Township, died Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2009, at Harmar Village Care Center, Harmar.
Born March 4, 1923, in Dorseyville, she had lived in Rural Ridge for the past 46 years.
A homemaker, she attended East Union Presbyterian Church as a youth. A member of West Deer Senior Citizens, she enjoyed crafts and wood work.
Survivors include her daughters, Karen J. McAdam, of Springdale, Darlene F. (Lawrence) Sneider, of Rural Ridge, and Janet M. (Kenneth) Moreman, of Drums; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; brothers, Kenneth McClelland and Patrick (Carol) McClelland, both of Indiana Township; and her sister, Jean Baumgartel, of Dorseyville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer A. McAdam, in 1985; her daughter, Norma J. Hartman; parents, Warren and Agnes M. (Holfelder) McClelland; and brothers, Henry and James McClelland.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer Township, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday.
Burial will be in Dorseyville Cemetery, Dorseyville.
