Norma J. McAdam Hartman, 51, of Poplar Street, Curtisville, West Deer, died at 8:15 a.m. Wednesday, December 6, 1995, in Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born July 4, 1944, in Pittsburgh, she lived in the Valley the past 29 years.

A 1962 Fox Chapel Area High School graduate, Mrs. Hartman was a school bus driver for Laidlaw Transit, Indianola, Indiana Township, for 13 years.

Mrs. Hartman enjoyed building and flying radio-controlled airplanes and was a member of the Academy of Model Aeronautics and Butler Aircraft Modeler's Society.

Survivors include her husband of 33 years, Thomas R. "Tim" Hartman; a son, Thomas R. Hartman, Jr. of West Deer; three daughters, Mrs. Ralph (Brenda J.) Hess of Cabot, Mrs. Terry (Deborah A.) Cetti of Pine and Jamie L. Hartman of Frazier; five grandchildren; her mother, Betty M. McClelland McAdam; and three sisters; Karen J. McAdam of Harwick, Springdale Township, Mrs. Larry (Darlene F.) Sneider of Rural Ridge and Mrs. Kenneth (Janet M.) Moreman of Drum.

She was proceeded in death by her father, Elmer A. McAdam, in 1985.

Friends will be received from 7 to 9 tonight and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the Siwicki-Yanicko Funeral Home, McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer, where services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. W. James Legge, pastor of Bull Creek Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Gardens, Indiana Township. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
