By June 9, 1870, they had removed to Lineville, Township 19, Range 9 area of Clay County, Alabama where Clayburn was a farmer. By June 18, 1880, Clayborn SIMS, now a widower, resided in the Precinct 33 areas of Fox Creek, Clay County, Alabama.
