Fred Reichart, 91, Dies Thursday
Frederick Reichart, a life long resident of the town of Rhine, passed away at his home on Thursday morning of last week at 8 p.m. after having reached the age of 91 years, one month, and twenty days. Death was due to old age.
Funeral services were held on Monday from the home at two p.m. with burial in the Kiel cemetery. The Rev. Otto Saewert of the Reformed church of Kiel had charge of the services. The deceased was born in Hessen-Darmstardt, Germany, April 25, 1838 and at the age of 14 came to this country with his parents and settled in the village of Germantown. After living there for one year he moved with his parents to town Rhine where he has lived ever since. In 1868 he was married to Miss Fredericka Anhalt who preceded him in death about 25 years ago.
