Mrs. Lizzie Nichols, 85, formerly of Altus, died Monday at Mangum City Hospital.
Services are set for 10 a.m., Thursday at Tims Chapel of Memories, and burial will be at Mangum Riverside Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Born March 24, 1891 at Cedar Hills, Tex., she married T.W. Nichols Dec. 24, 1907 at Mangum, and he died April 2, 1969. She moved to Altus in 1974 and lived her until five years ago. She was a member of the Baptist church.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Amos (Mae) Abney of Bakersfield, Calif., Mrs. Bob (Lela) Shires of Oklahoma City, and Mrs. Beaulah Dugger of Bristol, Va.; two sons, Leonard of Albuquerque, N.M., and Claude of Altus; one sister, Mrs. Valtie Bulls of Mangum; 18 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
