Funeral services for Nemo C.
Hancock, 69, 836 N. East,
will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at
Leatherman-Morris Funeral Home
with Rev. Noble Greene officiating.
Burial will follow in Fairview
Cemetery. Friends may call at
the funeral home anytime.
A retired carpenter, Hancock
died Saturday morning at Robert
Long Hospital, Indianapolis.
The deceased was born in Tipton
Oct. 12, 1899, the son of
William . and Charlotte (Weakley)
Hancock. In March 1920
he was married to Effie Puckett,
who survives.
He was a member of the Masonic
Lodge No. 128, the Kemp
Methodist Church, American Legion,
and at the time of his death
was the commander of the Tipton
County Veterans of World
War I.
Surviving with the widow are
two daughters, Mrs. Robert
(Willmetta) Fouch , of Sheridan
and Mrs. Charles (Dorla) Fredricks,
Davenport, Ia., and a son,
William Hancock of Tipton.
Also surviving are three brothers,
Tony Hancock, Tipton, Bun
Hancock of Phoenix, Ariz., and
Norman Hancock of Rochester,
and two sisters, Mrs. Draxy
Sallee, Muncie, and Mrs. Jeannette
Small, Frankfort, and five
grandchildren and two uncles.
