She was the daughter of Dr. William L. and Susan (Pickett) Wilson, born Jan. 29, 1888. In 1904 she married Alvin K. Baker who died in 1951.
Surviving are seven children, George W. and J. Worth Baker and Mrs. Perry (Susan) McDole, all of Indianapolis; Alvin K. Baker, R1 Westfield; L Parker Baker, Bakers Corner; Mrs. Wyatt (Ruth Mary Roberts) Coffin, LaGrange and Mrs. Lester (Ida Kay) Benson, Noblesville, nine grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Mrs. Baker was a member of the Bakers Corner Wesleyan Church where she served for many years as a Sunday school teacher. She was a charter member of the Friendly Circle and the Missionary Society of the church. She belonged to the Boxley Christian Brother and Sisterhood.
