Born in Laurens county she was a daughter of the late Thomas George Abrams and Grace Simmons Abrams. She was retired from School District 51 and was a very active member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church and a member of the WMU and the Naomi-Bible Book- Ruth Sunday School Class.
Surviving are one son; Eric Cox of Ware Shoals, two daughters; Christie Cox Finley of Ware Shoals and Shannon Cox Daniel of Greenwood, three sisters; Helen Chastain and Dorothy Mattison of Ware Shoals and Glenna Hammond of Laurens, two grandchildren Jason Cox and Nick Ferguson, four step-grandchildren; Brannon and Briana Daniel and Tori and Jennifer Finley, one greatgrandchild; Carson Cox. She was predeceased by a grandson;William Adam Bradberry.
Graveside services will be 11 A.M. Wednesday at Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Bruce Ostrom officiating.
